Bobby Orr and Alsip’s

When the call came for extras and actors for the CBC made for TV movie “Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Don Cherry Story”, an Alsip’s team member answered. Gerry Mawhinney was selected to play Bobby Orr.

“I’ve always been a hockey fan and who doesn’t know Don Cherry?” says Mawhinney. “I mean I got to meet Don Cherry and play one of the greatest hockey players.”

The made-for-television movie chronicles Don Cherry’s journey from farmhand to Canadian icon, will air Sunday, March 28 and Monday, March 29, 2010.

Our Family is Growing

We have expanded our sales and service team in Winnipeg and Saskatoon.

Alden Wood, Neville McDonald and Tyler Mueller have all joined our Winnipeg team.

Our Saskatoon team will now be lead by James Taverner, who has been transferred from Winnipeg. In addition John Tuck has joined the Saskatchewan team.
